“Working with Sarah has been a dream come true. It would be easy to go on for pages about how our experience with Sarah has been, but I will try to keep it short. One of the most important decisions a person can make when planning a wedding is choosing the right person to capture the moment. My fiancé and I canvassed the internet, looking through album after album, hoping to find the perfect fit. For us, selecting Sarah as our photographer was a no-brainer, based on her work alone. There was something about her style that we just LOVED. We came to learn, after communicating with Sarah and finally shooting our engagement session with her, that there is so much more to what Sarah does than taking the pictures. The skill with which Sarah practices her craft is obvious, even after only a casual glance at her work. Anyone who hires her will, without a doubt, receive the absolute best product anyone could ask for (likely in record time, too!). In addition to the wonderful photographs, you will also have a wonderful experience, from start to finish. From the very beginning, Sarah is extremely nice, fun, and excited at the prospect of working with you. It's seriously contagious. You find yourself counting down the days to your session. To help you prepare, and to ensure that she captures your moment in the way that you dreamed of, Sarah provides pointers, suggests locations, helps with selecting an appropriate wardrobe for the day, and even brought a dress to our shoot that she thought would look perfect in the setting (which, of course, it did!). During the session, Sarah will teach you techniques that will allow for the best results, coach you, and will bring a TON of energy that makes the session an absolute blast. This translates to photographs that convey all sorts of emotions. There are so many photos from our session where the comment is, “you look so HAPPY!” The reason for that is simple: we were happy! Sarah is able to bring out the best emotions in you and capture them all. Our session was truly a wonderful experience and we can’t recommend her enough. I feel as though Sarah doesn’t even need these 5-star reviews because it would make her busier than she already is… but I have to share my experience anyway. I cannot gate keep not only her work, but her amazing personality as well! I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah at one of my best friend’s wedding in 2020, and again for our other friend’s wedding in 2022. Fast forward to my time in 2024/25, and I knew I had to do at least our engagement session with her. We were unsure about our wedding since it was destination in Italy and would be an extra cost to fly her there. However, after our engagement previews came back, we knew we had to have her! Not only were the pictures perfect, but we felt so comfortable in front of her camera with her direction & infectious laugh that it showed in the photos! I feel that is the biggest concern for brides (as it was for I and my two friends prior), but Sarah quickly blew that concern away. Sarah was ecstatic to join us in Italy and was so helpful along the way, always providing her listening ear as I stressed about planning an abroad wedding. It was so relieving to have her there with us, and the Italian vendors absolutely loved her as well! Along with our friends and family. Sarah perfectly immerses herself in your day and is your biggest advocate, I cannot recommend her enough. She has become a part of our family and will be taking our milestone photos from here on out.

I am having trouble finding the right words to put down as words can't even begin to describe how blessed we feel to have been able to work with Sarah. Sarah was born to be a photographer, she was put on this earth to capture people in their most vulnerable/intimate moments. Her work speaks for itself but behind the lens is one of the most genuine, passionate, caring, funny, energetic, spicy, creative, determined, strong and MAGICAL people we have ever met. Sarah made us feel comfortable, worked fast, made us laugh, gave great direction and fit in like family. Sarah photographed our wedding weekend and was absolutely incredible to work with. Since we aren’t local to San Diego, she took the time to really get to know us over Zoom — answering every question we had, showing genuine interest in our story, and providing so many thoughtful resources and recommendations along the way.
